Copyright Policy

We accept only original manuscripts which have neither been submitted for publication nor published elsewhere in any form. The author should make sure that their manuscripts do not infringe the rights of others and do not contain any unlawful statements.

The copyright of the published manuscript remains with The Legal Vidya.

In case if a paper is multi-authored, I/corresponding author must obtain consent from all the co-authors, in writing and all the co-authors have to thoroughly read and agree to the above warranties and authorization.

The Legal Vidya shall have the sole right to publish the manuscript in the journal or any other means with editorial amendments if any to make it suitable for publication.

The Author(s) assign copyright to the Publisher for its publication in any form/language including all media, and exclusive right to use the matter for the life of the work. Publisher may assign its rights under this Copyright Transfer and Declaration.

The author(s) reserve(s) all proprietary rights such as patent rights and the right to use all or part of the article in future works of their own such as lectures, press releases, and reviews of textbooks. In the case of republication of the whole, part, or parts thereof, in periodicals or reprint publications by a third party, written permission must be obtained from The Legal Vidya.

While we will put in reasonable efforts to make sure that no plagiarized content shall be published by us but in case if it is found that the author has not published their original work, but has rather plagiarized or violated the rights of a third party, then the author shall have the sole legal liability and face all the legal consequences arising out of that dispute and not The Legal Vidya.

Those authors whose Manuscripts are selected for the publication will have to fill the Copyright Form which will be sent to the author(s) along with the acceptance e-Mail of Manuscript and the same shall be sent to submissions@thelegalvidya.com with subject “Copyright Form & Registration ID”.
